MACC is delighted to welcome South Korean company CS Wind who have purchased the Wind Towers Scotland Limited turbine factory from SSE Ventures and HIE.

Although the weather on the day of the formal ceremony was unkind, the welcome from the workforce and the Kintyre community more than made up for it. CS Wind plan to invest £14 million pounds to improve the manufacturing of wind turbine towers for existing European markets and extend operations on site to include manufacturing towers for offshore wind developments.
