MACC is one of seventeen groups that have been awarded a grant by Local Energy Scotland who manage the Community And Renewable Energy Scheme (CARES) on behalf of the Scottish Government.

They have awarded the funding through a call for innovative local energy projects under the CARES
Infrastructure and Innovation Fund (IIF). This will allow us to explore the development of a renewable energy supply on-site.

Local energy projects are those which seek to develop low-carbon energy solutions for communities. To read more on this click here.
